All our rooms within Shannagh Bay are fully furnished to ensure our residents comfort. Each room has an en-suite and is equipped with a profiling electric bed including pressure relieving mattresses if required.Click here for more on our Rooms.

- Spacious conservatory over-looking Bray seafront promenade, equipped with 1 flat screen TV.
- Two large sitting rooms with large coal effect fire: one equipped with flat screen TV and the other equipped with a home entertainment system, perfect for our movie or karaoke nights.

- Activities co-ordinator – conducting a wide range of activities including Reminiscence therapy, Bingo and Sonas sessions.

- Mass /Religious services (includes being taken out to Mass/Church).

Nursing Care
- Tissue viability nurse services.

- Epic Care nursing system.
- Resident centred care plans created on admission. Families are invited and encourage to participate in this process, helping to streamline the care of their loved ones.
- Regular mobility assessments.
- Waterlow scoring.
- Regular nutritional assessments.
- Security – all exits are fitted with alarms for residents safety, as are doors leading the stairwells and lift.
- Transport needs – wheelchairs, recliner chairs, and hydraulic hoists for transferring.
- One to one care will be organised when required.
- Pharmacy service provided by Fitzmaurice Pharmacy and EpicCare.
- Regular continence assessments and provision of incontinence wear and barrier creams.
- Patient moving assessments and provision of any equipment needed.
- Pressure relieving equipment.
- Regular seating assessments carried out by the OT.
- All wound and dressing needs will be cared for.
- Nursing home is equipped with numerous first aid kits and burns kits (checked regularly) and 1 AED devices are on-site.
