Visiting Your Loved One

At Shannagh Bay we promote an open visiting policy which helps facilitate family and friends to visit their loved ones around their family lives and work commitments. In order to protect our residents we ask that all visitors to sign in and out.

This can be done in our guest book when entering/leaving Shannagh Bay. Shannagh Bay reserves the right to impose restrictions on visiting arrangements where the visit or time of visit is deemed to pose a risk or where the resident requests restrictions. In the event of an outbreak of an infectious disease it may be necessary to restrict visiting.

Our objective is to ensure and promote Infection Prevention and Control in Shannagh Bay as it is a successful way of preventing cross infection, therefore we ask that you wash your hands as directed or use the hand gel provided on entry and exit of Shannagh Bay. Furthermore, we request that visitors with sore throats, flu, vomiting and / or diarrhoea or other infections do not visit due to the risk of introducing infection.
